The aim of the course is to gain knowledge about the development and current state of health care organization in the Czech Republic, knowledge about the health and social insurance system and the system of organizations that influence health care and development. An important part of the course is the provision of up-to-date information on the development of relevant legislation, GDPR, as well as on the possibilities and conditions for establishing a private practice of a physician and physiotherapist.

Learning Outcomes:

The aim of the course is to provide students with the knowledge, skills and general competencies so that after the completion of the course the students:

• demonstrates knowledge about the development and current state of health care organization in the Czech Republic

• demonstrates the ability to orientate in the system of general health insurance with its organization, legislative standards that define it and that influence health care and development

• demonstrates the ability to orientate oneself in the management of the quality of health care provision, personal data protection and GDPR

• demonstrates the ability to orientate in postgraduate education in physiotherapy and professional organizations of physiotherapists

• demonstrates an understanding of the conditions for establishing a private physiotherapist practice
