Students will learn about the principles of creating review studies and meta-analyses in the natural sciences. They will learn to search for relevant literature in electronic databases using Boolean operators, they will familiarized with the principles of developing a qualitative analysis within the framework of a systematic review and with analytical methods used in hypothesis testing in meta-analyses. They will be able to apply the synthesis of knowledge found in specification of the research problem.
