This subject contains theoretical base to the issues of physical self and also offers research results realized in the field Self and Physical self. The inclusion of this topic into the preparation of teachers and couches results from needs of common educational institutions. In today’s modern society the intention in the own person, the appearance and also the interest in the functionality of the own body is significantly growing. Body image as an important part of the general self-concept gets this way into the interest of the public. The struggle for a perfect body is used and exploited by the media and the economy for commercial means. In this way our thinking and behavior is also influenced. We need to have knowledge ant to orient us in the common offer.
