The aim of the course is to develop the knowldge basis of the teaching profession. Based on the ability to set aims, communicative competemcy, lesson planning etc., and in coordination with the principles of teaching language systems, within the framework of this course the students will get acquainted with the basic principles of the development of language skills, both in the theoretical as well as practical way. Microteaching, including its evaluation and self-evaluation, supports the development of the ability to set aims, plan, realize and evaluate the students´ own teaching as well as the teaaching of their colleagues. For the purposes of their microteaching and consquent reflection the students will use observation feedback forms.

Cílem předmětu je rozvíjet poznatkovou základnu učitelství. Na základě znalosti oblastí stanovování cílů, komunikační kompetence, plánování atd. a v koordinaci se základními principy výuky jazykových prostředků se v rámci tohoto předmětu seznámí studenti s principy rozvoje řečových dovedností, a to jak v teoretické, tak v praktické rovině. Mikrovýstupy studentů, včetně jejich sebehodnocení a hodnocení, podporují rozvoj schopnosti stanovovat cíle, plánovat, realizovat a hodnotit vlastní výuku i výuku kolegů. Pro potřeby pozorování výuky a její reflexe budou studenti využívat pozorovacích archy.

Requirements to the exam -

The exam consits of 3 parts:
1. Written test covering theoretical knowledge about language skills - it is necessary to achieve minimally 70% of total number of marks,
2. 3 presentation of 3 works selected from the recommended reading list
3. Active participation in creating and delivering a team presentation on how to teach one of the skills.

Zkouška se bude skládat ze tří částí:
1. Písemného testu teoretických znalostí o řečových dovednostech - nutné dosánout nejméně 70% celkového počtu bodů + následného teoretického pohovoru nad testem
2. Rozhovoru o prostudovaných dílech z doporučené literatury. Součástí hodnocení je i jazyková a formulační úroveň.
3. Aktivní účast na přípravě a realizaci týmové prezentace a mikrovyučování, max. 2 pokusy, podmínkou je správnost a koherence jazykového projevu. Prezentace se bude skládat z teoretického shrnutí (10 - 15 minut, správné použití angličtiny; uveďte prosím klíčové body k zapamatování plus další informace, které jste našli v literatuře) a mikrovýuky (15 - 20 minut, správné použití angličtiny; praktická ukázka uvedení teoretických zásad do praxe).
Počet termínů: 1 řádný + 2 opravné
