The subject Photography Studio I focuses on the study of the possibilities of the photographic medium in the context of contemporary art. It also emphasizes the pedagogical application of selected authorial and technological approaches. The course unifies the craft skills and theoretical knowledge of students and shows the new way of seeing and understanding the visual language. Partial outputs and exercises are connected with the central semester topic. Students work on this topic in the final author's project, the course of which they regularly consult and contextualize during the semester. Group and individual discussions on the chosen means, technique, framework, concept and artistic expression serve as reciprocal feedback in the creative process. By reflecting on the medium, its conditions, genres and the formation of the author's style, the student finds variable ways to approach photography and how to use it further.
