Introduction to psychology is a course in teacher preparation, which introduces the students to basic concepts, approaches, methods, and historical development of psychology. The content of the subject is followed by Developmental and social psychology and Educational and school psychology during later years of study. The course presents the first contact of students with psychology; therefore, a content of lectures is mostly theoretical with the focus on acquiring the knowledge of psychological terminology.
