This course focuses on the key principles and practices of TEFL Methodology. It covers a wide range of topics, including setting aims and objectives, the CEFR theoretical background, and RVP, the roles of teachers and learners, communicative competence, lesson planning, activity design, materials, as well as textbook evaluation and adaptation. It aims to familiarise future teachers with the principles of planning and help them understand the backstage of teaching by presenting theoretical concepts in connection with practice.
