Tento kurz si klade za cíl seznámit studenty s vybranými významnými díly dvou nejvýznačnějších anglofonních literatur jako součásti jedné vývojové trajektorie od počátku 20. století až do současnosti. Díla budou za aktivní účasti studentů analyzována z hlediska jejich jedinečných formálních aspektů a zároveň i z perspektivy společensko-kulturních vlivů a historického kontextu. Tematické celky: 1.
