The course reflects the knowledge of previous theoretical and practical courses and transforms them into an elementary didactic structure. It presents the main principles of planning in Art Education and introduces students to suitable sources of inspiration. It presents the patterns of children's artistic expression and its main developmental features and shows the links between the choice of the field context and the task and among other key didactic categories. The course also includes a brief history and present of the field of Didactics of Art Education. Thematic plan: • Introduction to the discipline and reflection on portfolios from theoretical and practical disciplines • Traditional issues of the field of didactics • A functional vocabulary of an Art Education teacher • Planning in Art Education • Key didactic categories I • Key didactic categories II • Suitable sources of inspiration and its parameters • Work with suitable sources of inspiration • Children’s creation and its genesis I • Children’s creation and its genesis II • Children’s creation and its genesis III • Summary of main theses
