The diploma thesis seminar acquaints the students with elementary methods and techniques of diploma thesis writing. The
course provides information on the preparation of a detailed outline of the thesis and on the usage of scientific tools. It also
acquaints the students with the basic procedures of the final stage of thesis writing, with the demands of proofreading, with
formal and technical demands, with the marking criteria and with the course of the thesis defence. The concrete problems of
the particular diploma thesis topics are dealt with in the office hours of individual thesis leaders.

Diplomní seminář seznamuje studenty se základními metodami a technikami psaní diplomové práce. V obecné rovině
podává základní informace o vlastním zpracování diplomové práce, sestavení podrobné osnovy, vypracování pracovní
verze diplomové práce a použití vědeckého aparátu. Dále seznamuje se základními postupy spadajícími do závěrečné
etapy zpracování diplomové práce, s požadavky všestranné korektury, s formálními a technickými náležitostmi, s kriterii
hodnocení práce a průběhem veřejné obhajoby. Konkrétní problémy k jednotlivým tématům různých diplomových prací jsou
řešeny v rámci konzultací se stanovenými vedoucími prací.
