Náplní předmětu je seznámit studenty se základními postupy a metodami dramatické výchovy především s průpravnými hrami a cvičeními rozvíjejícími empatii, skupinové vnímání, komunikační schopnosti, vnímání a orientaci v prostoru, smyslové vnímání. Tyto hry a cvičení jsou studentům představeny jako součást větších ucelených tematických celků. Každý student se stává aktivním účastníkem těchto her a cvičení.
