The course aimes at the world of geometry. By solving problems from several geometric areas in 2D and mainly in 3D, by problem posing and by solving problems from mathematical competitions, the students will deepen and classify their knowledge from some part of geometry and learn various solving strategies.

The goal of the course is to influence the students' attitude to mathematics, to motivate them towards creative thinking, to encourage their intellectual self-confidence, etc.

Another goal is to open the world of geometry (mainly 3D one) to the students.

Teaching method is solving of tasks and problem situations, group discussion about different solving strategies, creation of series of tasks with graded difficulty.

1. Seminární práce dle pokynů vyučujícího (podrobně bude vysvětleno na prvním setkání a pak elektronicky rozesláno všem zapsaným studentům).

2. Vypracování závěrečného testu na alespoň 60 % možných bodů.

3. Semestrální práce (úvaha) na téma "Můj vztah k matematice a jeho vývoj v průběhu mého života" odevzdaná (elektronicky) do konce prvního měsíce studia na VŠ, tj. do 31. 10. 2018.

Vypracování zápočtového testu je možné jednou opakovat, další opakování je možné jen ve výjimečných případech.
