Kurz je zaměřen na výklad a prohlubování znalostí studentů po střední škole se zaměřením na všechny jazykové dovednosti: poslech a konverzace (vyjádření postoje, názoru, nesouhlasu, atd.), gramatické struktury a rozšiřování aktivní slovní zásoby se zaměřením na školní prostředí. Studenti jsou uvedeni do problematiky praktického využití didakticko-metodologických postupů, způsobů testování, apod.). Různé způsoby praktického využití audio a video materiálů ve výuce. Tématické okruhy: 1. Introduction to various school systems: practical discussion, expressing point of view, vocabulary connected to education 2. Tenses explained in context: present x past, past x present perfect, past x past perfect 3. Socialising and Classroom interaction: polite language use, modal verbs conveying politeness, classroom instructions 4. Rules and Freedoms: obligations and permissions in the present and in the past 5. Dilemmas + Problems and Solutions: imaginary situations in the past with IF, modals and perfect infinitives 6. Presentation and Making speech: introduction to vocabulary and grammar needed to give a good presentation/speech
