The subject acquaints students with the ERASMUS interuniversity cooperation program with the specifics of inclusive and special education in the Czech Republic and with a wide range of health and social services for people with disabilities. The course furthermore provides infotmation about the minority life in the Czech Republic and the role of helping professions (especially pedagogical staff) in their support. This is done during excursions to various types of school facilities, counseling centers, day and weekly medical centers, homes for people with disabilities and NGOs for people with disabilities and chronic diseases. Students are required to attend excursions to the facility. The course is completed by drafting essay.
