Art and education project based on conceptual thinking as well as manual abilities. Introduction to visual communication. Suitable only for students studying Art Education and Arts. The outcome of the project is an art portfolio or exhibition of original art work, accompanied by a presentation for lecturers and students of the department of Art Education.

What happened...

Flip book, Diary, Pop-up book

What did you like? What did you see and experience? What did you listen to? What did you dream about?
Choose one event or situation that happened or could have happened to you in Prague. Create an art book about this event.
Play with a specific situation. What is the event about? Try to express a clear idea of the event depicted. Use three-dimensional effects and mechanisms or the principle of image animation to better express it.
Materials and media: animations, drawings, paintings, photographs, texts, etc.

At the consultation (online or in person at the beginning of the semester), the student will present a portfolio of his/her previous artworks and present his/her idea of the topic of the project he/she would like to deal with. The instructor must approve and accept the project topic before the student can enroll in the project in SIS.
