The course describes the counselling system in the Czech Republic - mainly in the school setting. It contains several theoretical lessons (the counselling system in school setting, ethics in counselling, child counselling specifics, the difference between counselling and psychotherapy, etc.), The course contains two visits in practice: in the Pedagogical - psychological counselling centre in Prague 6 and in the School psychologist office at School. The Outcome of the course is: 1. Writing comparative study/essay on the advisory / counselling system in the Czech Republic and advisory / counselling system in your country (3-5 s.). This essay will be send via email till the end of June. 2. The presentation of a selected topic about counselling for other students in course (you will get text on our first meeting, presentations takes about 10 minutes each, format Power point! ) After completion you get 6 credits
