Course Content: OBsah kursu Critical analysis of contemporary theories of art education in the context of contemporary art, visual culture and cultural studies. Critical reading of relevant texts, research reports, and visual artefacts as a tool of comparative approach to understanding, experiencing and communicating contemporary experience of art, creativity and subjectivity. Research journals, creative portfolios and diaries will be used as a tool for pedagogical transpositions and transformation of cultural/artistic contents. Objectives of the Course Upon completion of the course, students will be able to: Develop personal portfolios of textual and visual materials, records from the culture, public spaces, cultural institutions, research reports, papers and conferences Reflect the portfolio critically and create conceptual maps of ideas that will be re-conceptualized pedagogically, using latest findings in art pedagogy Create a collaborative and dialogical model of art education for selected group of users (school children, adult visitors, families, seniors, ect.) and test it in practice Create a design of interpretational frameworks relied to the main topic of the dissertation work. Create and defend a specialized text, using the above mentioned processes of thought. Assessment: Presentation of personal portfolio, case study of educational encounter, preparation of a text for publication, preparation of a paper and conference presentation/or a poster section, submitting a paper to a selected journal.

Objectives of  the Course

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

 

Develop personal portfolios of textual and visual materials, records from the culture, public spaces, cultural institutions, research reports, papers and conferences

 

Reflect the portfolio critically and create conceptual maps of ideas that will be re-conceptualized pedagogically, using  latest findings in art pedagogy

 

Create a collaborative and dialogical model of art education for selected group of users (school children, adult visitors, families, seniors, ect.) and test it in practice

Create a design of interpretational frameworks relied to the main topic of the dissertation work. Create and defend a specialized text, using the above mentioned processes of thought.
