The goal of the course is to illustrate problems connected to the interpretation of classic mathematical texts on the example of texts from the history of mathematics (by Euklides, al-Chwarizmí, Descartes, Leibniz, Bolzano). An emphasis is put on determining the difference in the precision criteria and in the standards of logical argumentation.
