Podmínkou k zápočtu je účast na minikonferenci o laureátech Nobelových cen a přednesení vlastního referátu na téma dle výběru studenta .
Průběžná účast na přednáškách je výhodou pro zvládnutí učiva a přípravu na závěrečný písemný test, není však podmínkou k připuštění ke zkoušce.

1. Structure of the nucleic acids and proteins, structure of the genome, central dogma of molecular biology.
2. Replication of DNA in prokaryotes and eukaryotes.
3. Transcription in prokaryotes and eukaryotes
4. Regulation of transcription in prokaryotes
5. Regulation of transcription in eukaryotes
6. Splicing, transport, stability and editing of RNA, non-coding RNA
7. Proteins synthesis, genetic code, prions.
8. Structure of proteins, posttranslational modification.
9. Viruses, transposones.
10. Mutations, repair of DNA.
11. Basic methods of molecular biology.
12. Genomics.
