Kurs navazuje na Obecnou psychologii I a pokračuje ve výkladu systému obecně psychologických poznatků. Tento systém je podáván pluralisticky, přičemž stěžejní tendencí je snaha o syntézu poznatků založených na různých psychologických přístupech a paradigmatech. Jednotlivé bloky se zaměřují na následující problematiku:

  • inteligence
  • tvořivost
  • učení
  • emoce
  • motivace
  • vůle

Teoreticky zaměřené přednášky jsou v průběhu kursu doplňovány semináři, ve kterých jsou presentovány názorné ilustrace, zkoušky a experimenty.
