Students will spend at least 40 lessons at a basic or secondary school where they will carry out tasks connected with the teaching of mathematics and namely its tutoring. "Assistance" in the name of the course means that they will "assist" both the mathematics teacher at the primary school (common preparation of teaching aids, assistance in lessons) and pupils (afternoon tutoring those who have problems with mathematics). These practical activities will be complemented by an interactive seminar. They will get more experience with the teaching of mathematics from the point of view of the teacher and with the problems pupils usually have with mathematics.
