The analysis will focus on various aspects of thematic, compositional, linguistic and media components of literary works with regard to their possible use in teaching German as a foreign language. The course will pay attention to the prose, poetry and drama of the 20th century and German-Czech literary relations(e.g. Zdeňka Becker, Franz Kafka, Egon Erwin Kisch, Gudrun Pausewang, Otfried Preussler, Peter Härtling). Course is taught in German.
