Based on Introduction to Russian literature and Russian literature it offers the possibility of extended and deeper study of literary history , theory and text analysis, focusing on the approaches of famous Russian literary scientists (e.g. V. Zhirmusky, B. Tomashevsky, V. Shklovsky, M. Bakhtin, A. Skaftymov, R. Jakobson, J. Lotman, D. Likhatchov). The selection of authors and topics varies according to particular students' needs and interests.
