Shrnout znalosti jazykovědných disciplín (fonetiky, morfologie, skladby, lexikologie a stylistiky), probíraných v jednotlivých semestrech, v jejich vzájemné provázanosti a se zaměřením na požadavky státní závěrečné magisterské zkoušky. Seznámit posluchače s některými důležitými jazykovědnými otázkami v návaznosti na dosud probrané disciplíny ruského jazyka v jednotlivých ročnících, prohloubit dovednosti analýzy textu a informovat studenty o nejnovější jazykovědné problematice a literatuře.
