The course covers the basics of philosophy: the most important topics and theories, as well as the major philosophers of the western philosophy. During the seminars the students read and analyze a selected authentic 20.th century philosophical text.

Předmět obsahuje základy filosofie. Poskytuje přehled o základních tématech ze systematické filosofie a znalosti o nejvýznamnějších osobnostech filosofického myšlení. Součástí kurzu je i četba filosofického textu některého z myslitelů 20. století a jeho rozbor v seminářích.
