The aim of the course is to this discipline to the students and to inform them about the related terminology, to explain the structure of the German main clause in comparison with the Czech sentence structure, to introduce individual types of sentences, sentence elements, compound and complex sentences. As for the complex sentences, it deals, in particular, with temporal and conditional clauses. The correct application of sentence structure principles is practiced in seminars.
