Overall explanation of present-day French auditive plan, clarification of its relation to orthography, introduction to study of phonetics and phonology, taking into consideration the comparative approach to French from the point of view of Czech (or other foreign languages studied by students), practical correction of students´pronunciation of French, elementary methodological recommendations for future teaching practice, introduction to selected linguistic and methodological literature related to the discipline.
