This optional course is primarily aimed at students working on their diploma theses in English-language literature. Its main goal is to familiarize students with the character, organization, format and strategies of writing scholarly texts. An analysis and interpretation of contemporary literary critical works will illustrate the diversity of potential approaches.

Tento volitelný kurz je primárně určen studentům připravujícím diplomovou práci z oblasti anglofonních literatur. Jeho hlavní náplní je seznámení s charakterem, organizací, úpravou a technikami psaní vědeckých prací. Při rozboru a interpretací vybraných současných literárněvědných textů bude ilustrovat rozdílnost možných přístupů.
