The course focuses on the analysis of the morphology of the English verb, categories of tense, mood, aspect, voice, the meaning and function of modals and other auxiliaries, transitive and intransitive verbs, the morphology of irregular verbs, and the meaning and use of phrasal verbs, as well as on the function of prepositions and conjunctions.
