The goal of the seminary is to show algorithms and practical applications of the theory treated in NPLF109
lectures. It is aimed to the processing of speech, music and other signals.

Předmět má za cíl představit algoritmy a praktické aplikace teorie probrané v NPFL109. Je zaměřen na zpracování
řeči, hudby a jiných signálů.

Last update: Mgr. David Klusáček, Ph.D. (29.10.2019)
To successfully finish the seminar, a student is required to attend it and actively participate. Up to 3 absences are possible (in case of illness more are, for extra homeworks).
Last update: Mgr. David Klusáček, Ph.D. (08.10.2017)
Zapocet je udelovan za ucast s <=3 neomluvenymi absencemi.
Povaha podminek zapoctu vylucuje opakovany pokus o jeho udeleni.

The seminary extends the NPFL109 "Digital Sound Processing" lecture. It is devoted to more advanced practical subject and applications such as
- Remez algorithm for filter design
- Random signals, noise shaping and dithering. How to quantize signals.
- Denoising: Kálmán filter, autoencoders.
- Overcomplete signal representation (Frames) and its use in denoising.
- ndependent component analysis (ICA) algorithm.
- Beamforming and sound source location from multiple microphones.
Besides these topics the seminary is open to adapt according to the interests of the students.

Seminář ze zpracování číslicových signálů navazuje na přednášku NPFL109, "Číslicové zpracování zvukových signálů" a věnuje se některým pokročilejším tématům a praktickým aplikacím:
- Remezův algoritmus pro návrh filtrů.
- Náhodné signály, noise shaping, dithering. Jak správně kvantizovat.
