The main purpose of the seminar for doctoral students is to present a new original results and to discuss about the recent development in statistics, probability and related fields.

Course credit requirements: Either of the two following conditions must be met:

1. Participation in at least three or four seminars. It is highly recommended to take part if the speakers are fellow doctoral students or other members of the Prabability a Statistics Department (talks in the series "New Trends in Our Field").

2. Presentation of student’s own Thesis (upon agreement with the advisor and seminar organizers).

The nature of these requirements precludes any possibility of additional attempts to obtain the credit.
