Master thesis of students of 1st and 2nd class of MS-programme of "Mathematical modelling" are presented by that students. Usual themes include mechanics of incompressible and compressible fluids, finite elasticity, optimization and control theory, plasticity, multiphase, multiphysics and multiscale models.

Presentation and discussion of MS-theses of student of MS-programme of Mathematical modelling. Themes are both theoretical (mathematical and physical) and numerical, usually addresing continuum mechanics. Most frequent topics are chosen from the areas:

  • - mechanics of fluids, both compressible and incompressible.

  • - finite elasticity.

  • - optimization and control theory.

  • - teory of plasticity.

  • - multiphase, multiphysics, multiscale problems.

Students of 1st year of MS-programme of Mathematical modelling refer rather about formulation of the thesis while in the 2nd year they refer already about results.
