Composition and vertical structure of the earth atmosphere.

Air pressure, pressure force, pressure systems, hydrostatic equilibrium, barometric formula.

Air masses, atmospheric fronts.

Solar radiation and its propagation in the earth atmosphere, scattering and absorption, long-wave radiation, radiative and energetic balance of the earth surface.

Atmospheric stability doncitions, temperature inversions.

Air flow in pressure field, geostrophic wind, cyclonic and anticyclonic flow, vertical velocities.

Cyclones, anticyclones and their development.

Local circulation systems.

Cloud formation and classification, precipitation formation, pollution of atmospheric precipitation.
