Annotation -
Last update: doc. RNDr. Vojtěch Chlan, Ph.D. (14.05.2019)
Summarizing NMR interactions, their description and anisotropic behavior. NMR spectra in solid materials. Influence of molecular motion on spectral shape. NMR spectra of liquids. Bloch-Wangsness-Redfield relaxation theory. Correlation functions and spectral densities for several motional models. Use of relaxation measurements for studies of molecular dynamics. Exercises will concentrate on deeper understanding of these topics, making use of simulation programs (virtual NMR spectrometer). For physics specializations and for PhD students.
Aim of the course -
Last update: KFNTZT/MFF.CUNI.CZ (11.04.2008)

Deeper understanding of quantum description of NMR interactions and their role in spin relaxation, including experimental use.
