Size distribution of atmospheric aerosol, theoretical basis of size separation of aerosol, separation based on impact, diffusion, electric mobility of aerosol particles. Basics of optical aerosol detection. Gravimetric measurement of aerosol concentration PM10, PM2.5, PM1.0 using low-volume apparatus with Harvard impactors. Measurement of mass concentration of aerosol PM10, PM2.5, PM1.0 by laser photometer. Measurement of on-line size distribution of aerosol using diffusion battery and electrostatic classifier. Theoretical basics of determination of NOx, O3, CO, SO2 and volatile hydrocarbons. Measurement of NOx, O3, CO, SO2 and volatile hydrocarbons in the atmosphere using Horiba model 360 analyzers.
The subject could be taught in English as a consultation.
