Well log analysis for oil and gas formation evaluation: reservoir rocks, reservoir fluid properties, statement of the log interpretation problem in terms of bore-hole conditions, comprehensive quantitative well log interpretation in granular - clean water wet rocks, - shaly water wet rocks, -oil wet rocks, in multiple-porosity type reservoir rocks. Interpretive methods for production well logs. Determination of coal seams and their quality in the boreholes. Application of borehole geophysics to water.resources investigations. Geological applications of wireline logs: physical properties, sedimentology and stratigraphic correlation, fractures and stress, mineralogy and geochemistry.
