The course covers the essentials of all commonly used wireline logging methods, from technical background and basics of drilling through principles, data acquisition and interpretation to application of geophysical well logging.
It includes methods analysing the condition of the borehole (inclinometry, caliper) and borehole fluids (thermometry, resistivimetry/conductometry, photometry, flowmetry), electrochemical, resistivity and electromagnetic methods, radioactive methods, sonic logs, borehole imaging and a brief introduction to other downhole geophysical measurements (e.g. fibre-optic technology).

Zápočet bude udělen za odevzdané protokoly z cvičení, z nichž každé musí být správně vypracované minimálně na 75%. Každé cvičení odevzdané minimálně dva týdny před koncem hodnocení předmětů bude možné přepracovat a zlepšit si výsledek.

Zkouška bude "dvoukolová", napřed písemná a poté ústní prostřednictvím online platformy.
