Introduction. Technical background of well logging measurements. The well log interpretation problem. Electrical logging: spontaneous polarization (SP) curve, resistivity logging, conductively focused current log,inductively focused current log, dielectric logging. Nuclear logging methods: gamma-ray log, spectral gamma-ray log, scattered gamma-ray log, X-ray fluorescence log, neutron logs, pulsed spectral gamma log, nuclear magnetic log. Acoustic logs. Temperature log. Magnetic log. Geophysical measurements applied to borehole geometric parameters determination: inclinometers, caliper log, dipmeter survey. Measurements of physical properties of borehole fluids. Formation productivity evaluation.
