Geology of construction materials focuses on the origin, occurrence, constitution and characteristics of the wide variety of natural rocks and minerals used in the construction industry. Thsoe include aggregates, decorative stone, cement raw materials, structural clay products and minor construction materials. Attention is paid to the test methods and to the physical and chemical factors controlling potential failure of materials.
