Separate blocks will be focussed on basic types of taphonomic windows from the Proterozoic to Recent. Type sof
fosilization, as well as palaeocology of individua groups and methods of study will be discussed in detail.

Fossil content of the following taphonomic windows (= lagersttäte) will be analyzed:

Bitter Springs, Ediacara, Doushantou, Burgess Shale, Chengjian, Kaili, Orsten, Beecher´s trilobite, Soom Shale,

Herefordshire, Hunsrück Slate, Rhynie Chert, Mazon Creek, Small Karatau, Holzmaden Shale, Morrison Formation,

Solnhofen Limestone, Santa a Crato formations, Geiselthal, Messel, succinite, Black smokers, bitumens, Jehol, Santana,

Lebanon.

Such analyses will be complemented by evaluation of stratigraphical distribution and environmental analyses which is

preserved (dry land - forest, lake, brook, meadows, ?; marine - depth, salinity, oxygen content, ?; relations in situ,

allochtonity)

Similarly also the fossil content of following taphonomic windows in the Bohemina massif will be evaluated:

Proterozoic stromatolites, Paseky Shale, Jince Formation, Klabava and Šárka formations,

Řevnice Quartzite, Kosov Formation, Kopanina Formation, Carboniferous (fishes), Ovčín, Bílá Hora Formation, Bechlejovice,

Kučlín, Bílina, Menilitlayers.

Structure of separate chapters:

1. History of discovery (level of research), 2. stratigrafical, facial and taphonomic circumstances, 3. description and demostration of fossils - major part, 4. palaeoekology, 5. occurrence in other regions (possible ekvivalents within the BM), 6. geographical distribution (relation to temperature belts - palaeogeography, recent geography), 7. where, if and how is the recent research undertaken, 8. references of appropriate literature.
