Basic course for the students of bachelor degree for the selected specializations of study programs Chemistry, Biology and
Environmental Science. The students are acquainted with the structure, form and practical importance of analytical
chemistry. The main topics discussed throughout the course involve the definition of analytical process, preparation of the
sample, classical methods of qualitative analysis, gravimetry, volumetric analysis and the methods of experimental data
processing and handling. The lectures are accompanied by the seminar, where twelve self-teach lessons devoted to
calculations in analytical chemistry are further discussed. These lessons facilitate to the students the calculations in following
course of Laboratory practices in analytical chemistry.

The subject is finished by written credit test and by written exam.
