The lecture is focused on advanced theory and practice in gas (GC) and liquid chromatography (HPLC) and their classical and less common applications. At the beginning of the course, attention is paid to the analysis of theoretical descriptions of processes and processes, especially from in terms of achieving optimal efficiency and selectivity. In the following sections, the lecture deals with practical aspects of use. Identification systems and methods for the determination of substances using conventional and less common detectors will be thoroughly discussed. The lecture will also discuss non-classical methods of pyrolysis GC, reaction GC, inverse GC, preparative and multidimensional GC and HPLC. The conclusion of the lecture is devoted to a discussion of the limits and perspectives of chromatographic methods.

Note: at the time when epidemiological measures apply, the lecture can also take place in an interactive way in the online mode, eg Google Meets, Windows Teams, etc.
