The lecture deals with basic principles of enantioselective separations. Characteristics and properties of optical isomers. Importance of chiral separation. Use of different separation systems. Chiral selectors. Enantioselective separation methods - GC, HPLC, TLC and electromigration techniques. Application of chiral separations in analyses of drugs food components, agrochemicals and other industrially important compounds. New development in the field.
