Aims: The major aim of this lecture is to give complete information on human toxicity of fungal toxins, their main producers, toxin structures and appearance together with methods for isolation, identification and quantification by different analytical protocols and procedures as for example HPLC, HPLC/MS, ELISA, TLC etc. Finally, some EU food and safety regulation will be discussed.

The subject of the exam is verification of knowledge from all lectured parts (see syllabus). The exam is in written form and is awarded on the basis of successfully passed exam test (min. 60% of points earned).
