Introduction to plant sensing. Plants perceive the same signals from their environment as humans. However, they process them and respond to them in a different manner. The mechanisms involved in plant sensing will be explained. Additionaly, interesting examples from plant realm will be included as well as an insight to possible applications of plant behavior in modern technologies.
