Cílem předmětu je seznámit posluchače s dějinami Střední Asie od 19. století do perestrojky. Absolvent kurzu získá základní historický přehled a bude schopen spojit dějiny regiony s ostatními obllastmi dosud známých dějiny Evropy a světa. Zároveň bude schopen přemýšlet o současných událostech v regionu v historických souvislostech, vyrovnat se s nacionalistickými historiografiemi současných středoasijských států a získá nástroje k jejich kritické analýze. |

Pro výuku je používána platforma Microsoft Teams, v případě výpadku bude studentům zaslán odkaz na ZOOM. Studijní materiály jsou přístupné v Moodle, k němuž přihlášení studenti dostanou přístupový kód na první hodině a pomocí e-mailu. |
