In the Czech as a Foreign Language A1/1 level course, emphasis is placed on communication skills from the very beginning of the course. The lessons are purely practical and should help students to understand and speak in basic communication situations such as: getting to know each other, finding their way around a city or building, shopping, ordering in a restaurant, making an appointment, etc. Although the Czech grammar is very simplified, students will learn the paradigm of the Czech case system, typical prepositions and their situational use.

The course consists of 24 lessons, which take place twice a week throughout the semester. One lesson lasts 80 minutes, the remaining 40 minutes are spent on self-study. It is essential to attend both lessons per week.

The price of the course is 4800 Czech crowns. Students enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme do not pay for the course directly at the cash desk, as Erasmus or PhD students do, but through interfaculty financial settlement.

If a student fails to attend the first two classes of the semester without excuse, his/her place will be taken by active students on the waiting list.

V kurzu češtiny jako cizího jazyka úrovně A1/1 je od samého počátku studia kladen důraz na komunikační dovednosti. Lekce jsou zaměřené čistě prakticky, měly by studentům pomoci s porozuměním a mluvením v základních komunikačních situacích, jako jsou: seznamování se, orientace ve městě či budově, nakupování, objednávání si v restauraci, sjednání schůzky atd. Ačkoli je česká gramatika značně zjednodušená, studenti se seznámí s paradigmatem českého pádového systému, typickými pádovými předložkami a jejich situačním užitím.

Kurz sestává z 24 lekcí, které se konají dvakrát týdně v průběhu celého semestru. Jedna lekce trvá 80 minut, zbývajících 40 minut plní studenti povinnosti v rámci samostudia. Je nezbytně nutné chodit na obě lekce týdně.

Cena kurzu činí 4800 českých korun. Studenti zapsaní v bakalářském či magisterském programu za kurz neplatí přímo v pokladně, jako studenti programu Erasmus nebo PhD, nýbrž prostřednictvím interfakultního finančního vyrovnání.

V případě, že se student bez omluvy nedostaví na první dvě lekce v semestru, jeho místo připadne aktivním studentům z čekací listiny.

Our main aim is communication in Czech from the beginning, students work in groups or couples and speak only Czech. During some lessons (Shopping, Orientation) students go to streets to prove their skills. Teachers are always very supportive, they create a kind atmosphere during sessions and try to overcome any difficulty. During lessons are used gestures, games, pictures, videos.

80 minutes of interactive studying with a teacher, reamining 40 minutes of self studies.

 

Prerequisite for obtaining 6 ECTS credits and en exam is active participation in the course (in case of on-line studies is requierd functional camera, functional microphone).

 

Of the total number of courses it is necessary to complete a minimum of 18 courses , it is possible to have at maximum of four absences (whenever the student needs it) other absences only with a confirmation of the doctor.

We require an active approach, ie.

- complete all assigned tasks during the lesson

- complete all homework

- midterm (after 6 weeks of the term)

- final (after 12 weeks of the term)

- oral exam evaluated on a scale A-E (100%- 50%)

 

In case all mentioned obligations are not met, final grade is reduced by on degree 

 

 

Classroom tuition: 

Final test (45min): grammar and vocabulary from lesson 1 - 6.

Oral exam topics: my family, my daily routine, dialog in a restaurant, dialog at the reception, dialog in a shop, description of  a picture.

Final score is consisted of performance in class, midterm test and final exam - oral and written part. Minimum 60 % out of 100% for passing.

A 75% attendance is requiered.

The assessment scale:

0-50 % = F 
51-60 % = E 
61-70 % = D 
71-80 %=C 
81-90 %=B
91% and more=A

Předpokladem pro získání 6 kreditů a získání zkoušky je aktivní účast v kurzu.

 

Z celkového počtu kurzu je nutná účast na minimálně 18 kurzech, možné je mít maximálně 4 absence (kdykoli student potřebuje), další absence už pouze se skenem omluvenky od lékaře

Požadujeme aktivní přístup, tzn.

- plnění zadaných úkolů v hodině

- plnění zadané domácí práce 

- midterm po 6 týdnech výuky

- final po 12 týdnech výuky

- ústní zkouška hodnocená na škále A- E (100 - 50%)

 

Pakliže student nesplní všechny domácí úkoly či  neabsolvuje midterm test, známka se snižuje o jeden stupeň  

 

Běžná prezenční výuka:

závěrečný test (45min): gramatika a slovní zásoba z lekcí 1 - 6.

Ústní zkouška: já a moje rodina, denní program, dialog v restauraci, ve vrátnici, v obchodě, popis obrázku.

Závěrečná známka se skládá z aktivity v hodině,  testu shrnujícím znalosti z první poloviny semestru, závěrečné zkoušky (ústní a psaná část) 

Je požadována 75% účast.
