Syllabus -

The subject is based to learn more about nosologic units from psychiatry, neurology or internal medicine. The student will discuss with dr. I. Tuma (psychiatry), doc. A. Smahelova (internal medicine), doc. H. Kubova topics related to his (her) project and his /(her) interest and they will selected at least 10 nosologic units. This process will be coordinating by guarantee of subject.  The aim of study is, 1/  to receive knowledge and skills regarding ethiopatophysiology of particular nosologic units including risk factors of disease, complications of non-well controlled disease, risk factors of complications, selected diagnostic method, which are able to answer on question: Does patient suffer with particular disease? What is severity of particular disease? How many risk factors are present? Do are present complications of disease? Do we reach goal of therapy? 2/ To be able to define relevant goal of  pharmacotherapy and discuss relevant strategy which is able to reach it. It will be discussed main risk of medicines use in particular disease

 

Exam:  Each student will learn at least 10 nosologic units and one of them will be discussed during oral examination. He (she) will bring one selected disease and try to do literature search about ediance.
