Health policy is part of overall economic and social policy of a state. It is based on the fact that preventing, promoting, and preserving health is one of the fundamental existential needs of human beings. It is purposeful activity of a state focused on the protection, promotion and recovery of population health. Medicine policy is defined as an ensuring the citizens’ right to safe, effective, and high quality medicinal products. A vision of health in the Czech Republic. Remuneration in health care. Health-care financing. Prices of medicines, co-payment, reimbursement of pharmaceutical care services.
