Bioanalysis of Drugs is aimed at introduction of the most important methods and procedures used in analysis of drugs and metabolites in biological materials. The methods are utilized for investigation of pharmacokinetic, therapeutic drug monitoring, toxicological and forensic analysis etc. Both theoretical and practical training are focused on separation and immunochemical methods, issues of matrix effect, validation of bioanalytical methods and sample preparation techniques. The attention is particularly paid on HPLC and UHPLC coupled with mass spectrometry as well as modern trends in drug bioanalysis. The training is realized in cooperation with Department of Clinical Biochemistry and Diagnosis, Faculty Hospital in Hradec Kralove.
